Mountain Lakes Recreation Department – Intro to Pyrography

Monday, November 3rd OR Wednesday, December 10th

4-6pm OR 7-9pm

Borough Hall, 400 Boulevard

$20 per person (adults and children 12+)

Discover the art of woodburning in this hands-on beginner pyrography class! You’ll learn the fundamentals of pyrography, including how to safely use a woodburning tool, practice basic strokes using a variety of tips, and how to use stencils and graphite paper to create a one-of-a-kind piece.

Under guided instruction, you’ll create two unique pieces to take home with a choice of small box, coaster, shelf sitter sign, or tree cookie ornament – perfect for gifting or decorating your space. Whether you’re an artist, a DIY enthusiast, or just curious to try something new, this class offers a welcoming space to heat up your creativity.
