| Astronomy Experience Night 8:15 pm Astronomy Experience Night Mar 28 @ 8:15 pm – 10:00 pm  March 28, 8:15 – 10:00 pm Early spring evenings are cool and sometimes crystal clear, affording great views of the night sky. On this evening, we’ll be treated to powerful telescopic views of a waxing gibbous moon and the largest planet in the solar system, Jupiter, and its moons! The International Space Station passes overhead from west to east at about 8:30 pm, a wonderful sight in binoculars. Later, we’ll view the Orion Nebula, the Pleiades, Hyades and Perseus star clusters, and perhaps glimpse the planet Uranus. Join us for this exciting and educational night under the stars! Lead by Morris Museum Astronomical Society. Halsey Field, behind the tennis courts. Bring a flashlight to walk the patch, binoculars (if you have them), and dress for the weather. Borough Council meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month in the Meeting Room at Borough Hall, unless otherwise noted. The Borough Council normally has only one meeting during the summer months of July and August and during the month of December. The exact dates for this year’s meetings may be found in the Community Calendar. The public portion of the meeting convenes at 8:00 pm. An executive session, if necessary, at which the public is not present, begins at 7:30 pm.

PUBLIC NOTICE – CANCELLATION OF MEETING
TAKE NOTICE that the regularly scheduled meeting of the Borough Council of the Borough of Mountain Lakes, scheduled for January 26, 2015 has been cancelled due to the State of Emergency declared by the Governor. The meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 28th, 2015. The Council anticipates meeting in Executive Session at 7:30 pm. The regular session, to discuss or act upon public business, will begin at 8:00 pm at the Borough Hall located at 400 Boulevard, Mountain Lakes, New Jersey 07046.

The Lakes Management Advisory Committee scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to the weather forecast. The next meeting is Tuesday, April 7th.
