The Shade Tree Commission will be giving out free seedlings on April 23rd from 9 am to 2 pm at the Municipal building. When you bring your oversize trash for EcoWeek Trash Day, you can pick up free seedlings on your way out. We will have a number of species so mix and match.
Join us for a fun spring tradition, The Mountain Lakes Arbor Day Celebration, on April 29th at 1:45 pm at Wildwood School. The Shade Tree Commission is honoring Carol Rufener, a long time resident, former Mayor and Freeholder, who is setting a great example by planting numerous trees in her yard. We will be giving out seedlings to some Wildwood classes. The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘sowing seeds for our future.’
