“DO NOT KNOCK” REGISTRATION
Ordinance 08-18, Do Not Solicit List
Ordinance 8-18, “Do Not Solicit List” was adopted to allow residents who do not want door to door solicitors to come to their home to have their address placed on a list that will be provided to organizations conducting door to door solicitation in the Borough.
Important Note: Solicitation involves the sale of goods or services or requests for something of monetary value. Registration will not preclude canvassers, candidates for public office, or others providing information and not seeking monetary consideration from knocking on your door.
I, the undersigned owner/renter request that my residence, as indicated below, be added to the official “Do not Solicit” list of the Borough of Mountain Lakes. The list will be distributed for the purpose of prohibiting door to door soliciting at this address.
