Single-handed Relay rules
1.Two
or more teams are formed and two or more buoys are placed in a line
parallel to shore some distance from the beach. The teams have two or
more players.
2.Each team is assigned a boat.
3.At
the start of the game the first member of each team boards his/her
boat sails our around the team’s buoy and returns to shore.
He/she then exchanges the helm to the next member of the team who makes
the same trip.
4.The first team to finish wins.
5.Racing rules apply.
6.Team members can assist the returning boat to turn around and aim back our to sea. However, at no time can a team member be more than waist deep. If is team member gets deeper into the water, his/her team loses and the team can not longer continue in the game.
